Renewable and switched on – Part 1

Electricity in Sub-Saharan Africa is substantially lower than what it could be. This lack of access to electricity imposes significant constraints on modern economic activities, provision of public services, and quality of life. In this episode, Lebo Madiba is in conversation with Sumaya Mahomed who in her right is an agent of change in the narrative of power equity in Sub-Saharan Africa. Mahomed also speaks of her journey and role as Country Director at Power For All, Uganda. Power For All’s mission is to enable a world where all people benefit from the opportunities and quality of life that come from reliable, affordable, clean energy.
